Better than Chocolate Cake

In some countries, law requires that all cigarette boxes display these words…"SMOKING KILLS.”
They’re there on every box. Big letters.
The hope is that people will be confronted with the truth about smoking: it’s unhealthy. Maybe that will stop them from doing it.
…and yet…
People still buy the cigarettes. And smoke them.
Similarly with chocolate cake: you might as well put on cake boxes, “CAKE KILLS.” But I would still eat it. You probably would, too.
So why is that? Why do we eat cake when we know it’s bad for us? When we know we’re forfeiting future health?
Here’s why: we want immediacy over quality.
When I eat chocolate cake, I get immediate pleasure. Choosing to not eat chocolate cake may lead to bigger, better rewards… but sometimes it can take a while before I get to experience those rewards. The reward of the chocolate cake is now.
A 9-5 is like chocolate cake. We don’t want it. And yet… we keep coming back to it. Day after day after day…Why?
Because of what we get from it now: immediate safety, a steady paycheck…
We’re unwilling to give those things up. Unwilling to give up the immediate payoff of 9-5. We don’t really want a 9-5… but we can’t seem to give it up, either.
But there are bigger, better rewards than the supposed ‘security’ of a 9-5: for example, there is abundant money, more fulfilling work, travel opportunity…
But you can’t have these things if you always go for the immediate rewards.
The Legendary Marketer System is the fastest, easiest way to break away from the false security and lazy immediacy of the 9 to 5.
When you’re ready for something more fulfilling than chocolate cake, let me know.
